Went driving late last night.

Houston is a ghost town like after Hurricane Ike.

Only fast food places open.

Denny's and IHop is open but nobody inside.

Motel and hotel lots are empty.

Just stopped to buy some gas at a 24 hour place.

Gas for the van and lawn mower.

No one there but me.

Used gloves and then tossed them and washed my my clothes when I got home.

Needed to get out of the house.

I am thankful for what I have and hope everyone doing ok.

Please don't store it in the garage in hot weather unless your garage is unattached to the house. hlthe2b Mar 2020 #4

Gorgeous, but eery as hell.

I suppose gas is at least cheap and available (for now)

I bought extra, 3 five gallon cans.

The van is full.

I had to wait until so no one would be around.

I lived down the street from a fatal house fire that occurred as a result of doing just that.

Didn't get out of the car or get any food or anything, I just wanted out of the house for a few minutes. Fast food restaurants with dining rooms closed, but cars snaking around them. Hardees had police tape up blocking the seating area. Wal-Mart almost an almost empty lot at 8:45 PM, when the place is normally jumping. A fitness center closed down tight, a part of a chain that has closed all its locations til further notice. It was like a bizarre holiday evening.

I live on a fairly busy street, traffic is half what it usually is.
