7. I forget which country has helmets that have a long distance thermometer on the front.

The police (or whoever wears it) can stand far away from people who are entering or exiting a crowded place. The helmet thermometer reads each person's temp and it flashes the temp so the helmet wearer can see it immediately. People don't even have to stand still to have their temp taken and most do 't even know their temp is being checked.

8. I live in Thailand under a military government.

Coronavirus tests are offered at all hospitals and temperatures are taken before entry into any public buildings. We are not under lockdown, but are self-limiting social contacts. No one is allowed entry into the country without a medical certificate of clearance. I can buy Covid-19 insurance at my bank for about $20. Stores and restaurants are open and limiting the number of people at any one time. As a result, we have very few cases.

17. In my former job I traveled all throughout Asia.

At the time our main Asian office was in Tokyo, & my associates there always booked my schedule so I would spend my weekend in Japan. I kept rebooking my flights so I could finish my last Friday meeting in Japan & catch a flight to Seoul, so I could spend the weekend in S Korea.

My Japanese friends didn't understand, but if any of you have spent months in Tokyo & months in Seoul, you'll understand.

It's a wonderful country.
