Donald Trump thinks the way he does because he has never had to sacrifice for anything.

He is a spoiled, rich, unempathetic asshole. He was born into wealth and has never had any concern for vulnerable people, and he can only think in terms of instant gratification. Eat, sleep, fuck something.

Thus, that's why he's operating the way he is now, feeding people bullshit about getting back to church in the next two weeks. The thought of a nation under duress because it's sacrificing for a greater good is something he just can't fucking relate to. Churchill gave us, "this was their finest hour," but Donald is giving us "Eh, social distancing is boring. Let's just go back to what we were doing. Old people, you get it, right?" And we're only two weeks into this mess.

He has no will power. He crumbles at the first sign of adversity because he has never had to endure it.

I want to think we, as a people, are better than he is. Lord, help us.

I called in a spoiled brat before the election, wish it had caught on, as it best describes how un worthy he was of the office and its demands.

Lying and "distorting reality" are hallmarks of Antisocial Personality Disorder. He breaks every rule in the book in pursuit of his own ends. He lies and distorts reality to rationalize and justify his wrongful conduct. To puff up his over-inflated ego he stereotypes and denigrates those he sees as out-groups. His callous disregard for others and sense of entitlement appear to know no bounds. He also meets the criteria for a diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, weaving tales of his fearsome power, omnipotence, and unequaled brilliance. He is proudly abrasive and offensive. He clearly enjoys humiliating and embarrassing others, but reacts to any perceived slight to his own person, appearance, or accomplishments aggressively and vindictively.

Should never be said to be a good thing again. He is making Easter a deadline for his employees and thinks they will just pull it off to avoid his wrath. But one of his employees is the virus, which won’t cooperate with this.

is an indictment of the neoliberal U.S. capitalist system. It allows a child to inherit a vast fortune they did absolutely nothing to earn or deserve and then use it again and again as leverage to buy whatever they want without necessarily gaining any knowledge, experience, understanding, morals, character, or empathy along the way. Buy some college degrees! Buy an army of lawyers to weaponize the law and intimidate accusers! There are probably a lot of young heirs like Trump growing up today with him as their role model and expecting to use their fortunes as leverage to take over whatever they want someday--with potentially catastrophic results.
