It's like an automatic indicator that there is no need to listen, watch or read anything beyond that point.

Who needs the lies?

For the most part, I've been actively ignoring/avoiding him since the primaries in '16. He's not worth getting worked up about, and I don't know why anyone is surprised when he lies or does something outrageous. That's his brand.
