Fuck all the talk of "unity" and "putting aside politics" for today.

3,000 people died a horrific death because the idiot President at the time, and his administration, were negligent.

The man responsible, and most of his lieutenants, are dead because the President that succeeded that incompetent asshole didn't take his focus elsewhere but instead focused like a lazer beam on justice.

But I'll go to my grave with an open mind about LIHOP because there was too much talk among NeoCons about the need for new a 'Pearl Harbor', and the Cheney administration took advantage of 9/11 as if it was the new Pearl Harbor they for which they longed.

3. Here's the big reason why I think LIHOP was possible

In 1945, a bomber crashed into the Empire State Building. 14 people died, but the building was structurally fine.

Rumsfeld's old enough to remember it happening. Cheney may remember it - he was pretty young at the time but it's not impossible. Not to mention all the younger people who read about the incident.

LIHOP sites always seem to move off into the neocon conspiracy angle and don't mention this incident. But it seems to me to be extremely relevant to LIHOP: if you used the B-25 incident as a guide, you'd think that only the people on the planes and the floors struck by them would be killed. That makes it much easier to LIHOP.
