https://covidtracking.com/data/state/michigan/#history
As of yesterday, Michigan had tested about 950 per million. Between now, and when they reach the current testing rate of the "leaders" NY and WA (more than 6000 tests per million), you will see big jumps in the numbers. These are not actual jumps in the number of cases, just jumps in the number of existing cases detected.
We will also continue to see big jumps in NY as they test more and more people.
If we assume 1% of the population is currently infected, that's over 3 million cases to be detected "out there."

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
