"If you ultimately go down over that border and go to a restaurant or something that's not open in Kentucky, what you do is you bring the coronavirus back here in Kentucky."
Kentucky has 302 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Friday evening, Beshear said. Meanwhile, Tennessee has more than 1,200 confirmed cases, according to the state's health department website.

(21,811 posts)in short, avoid dying. All because some Tenn. shopkeeper wants to make a few bucks off of his KY neighbors (or in any other states bordering other such 'closed' states).

Clarksville, TN near Ft. Campbell, KY. Same with Louisville and Ft. Knox and many others.
We don't need our bases becoming hotbeds of infection, considering frequent close proximity of groups of soldiers.
