Have been watching "Homeland" - no spoiler

At some point the leader of Pakistan tells "Saul" what friendship? You came and squashed the Taliban, they even started shaving and then you left for Iraq.

And... a weak president. Ahem. Just read a recap of yesterday's episode and found this comment: "A POTUS who goes off-script with dangerous information ... I wonder what that's like?" (I don't think that Entertainment Weekly is a leftist publication, but will wait for the Whinny Donny to claim that it under rated, or something).

Yes, the writers several years ago had a woman president. They, like us were caught off guard. And, apparently, they did create a weak character as the next president..

This is the last season. And so far, nothing suggest there will be any kind of "happy" ending hlthe2b Mar 2020 #1

But the Homeland people do agree that the similarities surprised them.

That seems surprising, since there doesn't seem to have been a "the program must finish this way" vibe.
