Advertising in the time of pandemic isolation

We've noticed that commercials are already reflecting issues related to social distancing and coming financial hardship

Dodge is offering 7 months internet free
A local Ford dealer is offering 7 years interest free and no payment for 4 months *
Papa John's promises no touch after the oven pizzas
Burger King has "Contactless Delivery"

* these don't appear to be the normal lure and then switch

I am sick of hearing that friggen' Gabi Car Insurance ad on MSNBC - the one that rotates in every single ad break. Ia m at the point where I will never use their service because I am tired of that dude telling me the same message in his German-English accent.

since they were wasting a lot of ad $$$ on TV ads that were now outdated. I have been seeing a lot of COVID hygiene and social distancing ads over the last 4 days. I started seeing "updated" commercials that are offering COVID alterations and specials over the past few days too.

I just saw one for Weather Tech car floor mats and non porous protectors that are easily cleaned or washed.

They might as well save their money. If there's none to be had, why advertise it? Are people really going to be brand loyal when there's only one 4-pack left on the shelf?
