One solution could be a microchip implanted into the body which would contain a record of whether you had tested negative or already recovered for example. Employers would be able to scan workers to see who is healthy or be alerted to people who tested positive. This would lessen the necessity for social distancing and allow people to get back to work before a vaccine is available. This might also be extended to schools, parks, cinemas and border checkpoints (even state borders if necessary). In future these chips might also be able to hold vaccination records, especially useful since vaccination might become an annual thing like influenza.

I also forget to mention this chip would make contact tracing easier since you'd be able to track where people had been. It could be used to make contactless payments too, similar to a credit card, since cash is a vector of disease.
