While we're praising the heroes among us, let us not forget

Postal workers. They're out every day delivering mail to every address in the USA. They handle mail which may carry the virus to ensure tat it arrives in a timely manner.

He seemed happy that someone recognized the fact they are putting themselves in harm's way to make sure we get our mail.

Thank you for the reminder. And maybe the art of writing notes by hand will undergo a comeback.

What this crisis really shows is that people from all walks of life, with all kinds of different jobs or endeavors, are worthy of respect.

I am glad for a change that it isn't just the military that is singled out ... from postal workers to trash collectors to nurses to grocery store clerks there is an egalitarian message here. All of us regular folks are important.
