General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWe have 2 kidneys, 2 lungs, 2 nostrils... a second POTUS makes sense, especially considering...
he's rage tweeting at Iran right now.
And since we were told that Trump couldn't handle impeachment AND prepare for the pandemic, then that means he won't be able to handle the pandemic AND Iran, so all the more reason for potus #2, right?
Here's my vision:
potus #1 (Trump): His responsibilities will include talking to his vice president (Pence), getting told that he's a great leader, conferring with right-wing evangelicals, going to rallies, and tweeting.
potus #2 (Someone else): Their responsibilities will include all the BORING stuff like signing or vetoing the legislation, commanding the armed forces, talking to foreign leaders, you know, all the technical little details that right-wingers don't need to worry their pretty little heads over and Trump doesn't seem all that interested in anyway.
Everyone good with this? I'm down with this.

(1,602 posts)I think Trump should be made King myself - sits in his big gold and red chair all day, looks important for pictures, waves mechanically at parades, you know, kind of like the Queen of England, but with even less real power or responsibility.
Then we can have a prime minister who wields the real power and handles most of the real responsibilities.
Just sayin'.

(35,069 posts)Super President Trump gets to do the mazes on the backs of restaurant kids menus and tweets while Regular President whoever is in your head does all the 'boring' work about legislation and foreign affairs.
