It is just like a rabbit hole, too: dark, damp, clogged with roots, fills up with rain and goes nowhere at all, or maybe the madness that Alice found there.

My oldest friend won't come out and its like a religious devotion with a bunch of sacred words, paranoia, anti-science, etc. I can see skepticism and alternatives to the media narratives, put the conspiracy buffs are all the way out there on another planet and might miss important information they REALLY need to survive this and help others.

Also, Russia and China are known to constantly feed them bones, knowing the mindset and psychology of it, (specializes, in-group, etc.)
