A highlight today: Nicole Wallace and Kamala Harris sharing a laugh

about an hour ago. Wallace was interviewing Harris. There was a bit of bantering back and forth and soon they were sharing a laugh. Each has a laugh that is infectious and can lift the spirit of those who hear it. Sort of made me feel good to hear some laughter at such a somber time.

4. I have been against Harris as VP for one reason: we don't need her to carry California

I was hoping that Biden would take someone who could help us carry a formerly Republican state. Not sure who that might be while fulfilling the other items on the check list such as women, possibly POC.

I have been thinking Tammy Duckworth, but we don't need help to carry Illinois, just like California.

But if you take away the checklist of criteria for VP and just wanted to pick the one person whose personality and experience bring the most to the ticket I would pick Kamala first and Sherrod Brown second.

Harris is simply dynamic.

I have been watching her career for a long time. When I first started reading of her I was convinced she was presidential caliber.
