Doing what's possible by making requests through the chain of command is one thing.
Airing dirty laundry outside the chain of command is going to %&^ somebody off.

To appease Trump, Raytheon lobbyist turned Defense Secretary @EsperDoD has fired:

- A Navy commander trying to save sailors’ lives

- A Navy Secretary who refused to pardon war criminals

- LTC Vindman for refusing to ignore POTUS’ crimes

Esper = Secretary of the Indefensible
