TX-22: Candidate jolts battleground congressional race with ad blasting China for coronavirus

As the new coronavirus disrupts lives worldwide, a Houston-area congressional candidate has shifted her focus to targeting the country where the outbreak began: China.

In a TV ad that started airing Thursday, Republican Kathaleen Wall embraces President Donald Trump's description of the virus as the "Chinese virus," saying the country "poisoned our people" and must pay for it. A narrator goes on to denounce the country as a "criminal enterprise masquerading as a sovereign nation."

Democrats swiftly condemned the ad as racist and particularly out of step with the highly diverse 22nd District, where Wall is in a runoff to be the Republican candidate for the seat of retiring U.S. Rep. Pete Olson, R-Sugar Land. National Democrats are targeting the seat.

"Irresponsible, race-baiting comments like these from Kathaleen Wall are unacceptable and dangerous to TX-22’s large Asian American and Pacific Islander population, who are intimately aware of the FBI warning about the recent surge of hate crimes against their community," Democratic nominee Sri Preston Kulkarni said in a statement.

2. Are there any democratic candidates running on a blame platform?

It seems like this always comes from Republicans. Actually I guess Bernie uses blame of the democratic establishment. I just realized that, I don’t know of any others that rely heavily on blaming someone else. Dems certainly point trumps failures out, but doesn’t feel anything like the rethugs that are constantly spewing, making excuses

Lots of Indians, East Asians, and South Americans live there live there. In this during 2018 it was thought this district might turn blue. It wasn’t really even close, but it was closer than before.

There's hardly any information on this woman. What she has done with her life, who she's worked for, anything. She married in 1998 and lived in an apartment and he owned a multi-million dollar business. The house they moved into 6 years later is worth 1.5 million dollars today.

They married October 1998. However he had only filed for divorce in November of 1997 and officially divorced June of 1998. Married 4 months later. Gee....a very quick turnaround there.

TLDR she probably married into money.

They currently live in a 3.5 million dollar house that is registered anonymously under HCAD. I found it...suckers. Bought in 2014 from a guy who is from Iran. Big names have visited their house including John Culberson and Dan Patrick.

Some of his donations via the FEC: https://littlesis.org/person/246552-Holloway_Frost/references

EDIT: Oh more juicy family details. He was sued by an employee for sexual assault. The plaintiff ended the case with a take-nothing judgement.

Have any Republicans plucked up the courage to publicly oppose Wall's comments?
