these days. Scared, frustrated, tired...
A Beyond Our Nightmares administration who are getting away with every fucking thing, people thumbing their noses at social distancing because, by golly, they got to get to church and pray the virus away...
Part of me says to just be thankful that me and my loved ones are healthy and employed, but I can't help feeling totally overwhelmed by it all.
I know the whole world is katty-wampus right now, and I'm really grateful that I have this community to lean on and learn from.

(365 posts)hating anyone just saps us of precious emotional and mental energy we all need.

(9,761 posts)Mostly eating too much and doing mindless crap to pass the time and checking the case numbers and death counts way too many times a day. Exercising indoors just to try to keep anxiety down. How about you?

Make sure you get outside to get fresh air and sunshine. Just for 15-20 minutes. Feels great.
Maybe check news/numbers once a day, like in the mornings. Then turn your attention to other things for the rest of the day. Advice I need to heed as well. Your frame of mind will be much better.

(365 posts)you too. We have to protect ourselves emotionally and watch out for depression. It can sneak up on you before you know it. Sleeping all day, not feeling like doing anything, even things you used to enjoy, etc. A DU Group Hug is just what we all need!
