(12,631 posts)Just a roof antenna or even an indoor leaf antenna will bring in your local Public Broadcasting Station. Whatever is old is new again

It just announced it is over now.
Guess I missed him before dump gives him the axe.

(12,631 posts)Theres a site, I believe its called tvfool that will guide you to what kind of antenna you need to receive the stations available to you. I use a simple leaf antenna from Amazon which cost about $35.

I cannot afford to get rid of it.
By using the signal converter and the huge rabbit ears I have, it fortunately works.
It took a lot of effort to get it to work at all and frankly, I am proud I managed to do it.
The Leaf does not work on an old analog television set. However they work well on a newer television set that has a digital signal on it.

We cut the cord years ago and only use Roku.
Its rabbit ears and a signal converter for my late mother's old analog TV that I watch.
It picks up 17 channels believe it or not!
Thanks for the link -- I have some good ones for MSNBC and CNN.
I don't pay anything and haven't since Nov. of 2018.
