This is to address the election this coming Tuesday and the COVID-19 issues. He wants the election delayed to keep people safe and out of the hospital.....or graveyard. Republicans say no. They seemingly see dead constituents, at least democratic constituents, as a good thing. Perhaps they dont see democrats as human beings so I guess this position shouldnt surprise anyone.
This should not be a partisan issue but if republicans refuse to take the safety of their fellow Wisconsinites as priority number 1, well then I guess we know how they really feel about human life.
It should be noted that the two primary areas of democratic strength are also the same that right now are most effected by the virus. Dane county and Milwaukee and its environs are predominately Democratic and now apparently they are expendable in Republican eyes.
Republicans, including trump, have acknowledged that the more people who vote the less chance a Republican will succeed to office. Thus the fanatical nature of voter suppression. But this may be the most immoral, unethical and dangerous act by a group of opportunistic politicians, certainly in Wisconsins history, ever.
So this is what we have come to in this nation, during a life threatening and economy destroying emergency. Such cowardice and vile behavior boggles even the most craven....well, maybe not....

(3,212 posts)The GOP has become the party of sociopaths, or limited sociopaths.
While most people want to treat everyone decently, the Con Cult only treat their little group well.
I see this in my Uncle's Con friend. He's good to like 3 people and evil to everyone else.
It's so weird to me.

(2,546 posts)able to due to various republican imposed restrictions on that too. As a point of fact my wife and I both early voted, but we are an exception due to where we live and our ability to understand the rules republicans have injected into the process to suppress the vote. Bear in mind we have a Supreme Court seat up for grabs here and they cant afford to lose that.
