How many times will Trump call it the "1917 Flu"?
I have heard him say it on at least three separate occasions now and today he repeated it several times. One time is a misstatement, but apparently he still thinks it was the 1917 Flu, not the 1918 Flu.

That is what it says on his death certificate from 1918.
Cause of death: The Spanish Flu
He was an attorney in San Francisco and a member of the Calif. State Assembly.
He was in his early 40's, his prime in life.
He left behind a wife (my grand aunt) and three children.
The house they lived in is still there today ironically on 16th street in San Francisco. It is a historical landmark today being it survived the 1906 earthquake.
I was shocked to find it as I figured it to be long gone. I was so very wrong. It has been all restored and looks real fancy!
My great grandfather, a survivor of the Great Famine in Ireland, had it built for his family in the late 1800's!
A story to be told, a story to remember -- a casualty of a pandemic is what happened. Luckily, they had a place to live!
