In upper respiratory infections including viral infections.
There is some indication in medical literature that there are strong links between low vitamin D levels and viral infections and their severity.
There are also indications that low vitamin D is more prevalent among African Americans in US.

And it seems obvious also from the location of the “hot spots.”

This needs more coverage everywhere; I’m sure the mainstream media must be aware of it.
