FDA changes regs for imported masks.

I have my own thoughts as to why - EVERYTHING is a political decision with the RUMP.

Edited to add: According to my son, who has run a sourcing company in China for a decade - at this moment there are ONLY 2 factories in all of China that meet these current guidelines. Trump has effectively curtailed importation of desperately needed PPE.

Denise Hinton is FDA’s Chief Scientist. In this capacity, she is responsible for leading and coordinating FDA's cross-cutting scientific and public health efforts.

RADM Hinton joined FDA in 2002 in CDER’s Division of Cardiovascular and Renal Products and, later, served in the center’s former Division of Training and Development. Before coming to FDA, she was an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
