We're #10! We're #10!

My state, WA, is showing up on the board this morning at #10 in total number of cases.

As the first to recognize a case of CV, and one of the earliest to close schools and enact a Stay at Home order, it looks like it might be working.

5. It's not about total number of cases

One would expect that Washington (population 7.5 million) would have fewer cases than, say, New York State (population 19.5 million). It also has less density of population.

Flattening the curve is about the rate of daily confirmed cases as compared with past rate. Maybe that's happening in Washington, but that has little to do with total number of cases.

7. I have been tracking Washington for a while. Was at 1, then stayed at 2 for a while. 3. 5

then saw it at 8 five or six days ago. I saw it at 10 last night.

i am in Oregon. It was because Wa jumped on closing things down, our Gov followed suit. 3/12? I think that is why Oregon might escape the worse of it and certainly why Wa is following in its spread and deaths. Absolutely. I have been thankful of Wa and my state. We are doing a good job. Yes...

Washington is down to 10.
