After this, what will you never complain about again?

For me it is my spouse watching sports.

I used to wake up to Sports Center on the TV in the morning. When they started rehashing the same stories, switched over to some other similar channel. Football, baseball, soccer, basketball college, pro. Didn't matter the game or the level of play. Bowling, golf, badminton, horseshoes, tennis, If it was on, he was watching it. Just try to sneak that remote out of his hand when he dozed off....

I will never complain again. He has taken to following me around and talking to me almost non-stop. I had to kick him out of the kitchen the other day while I was washing my groceries. Yes, he was only trying to help. He started to dry some fruit. When he was done, I caught him putting the grapefruit back in the unsanitized pile. Taking things out of the unsanitized pile and putting them in the sanitized area of the counter.

When I do something he is right there asking me why I am doing that.

I will never complain again. I have come to realize sports is what is keeping our marriage together. LOL

retirement of the husband in the old fashioned traditional marriage caused the wives to complain about husbands being underfoot and in the way when they no longer went to work!

I remember once laughing when my mother and grandmother were in the kitchen on Thanksgiving, my mother was complaining about several aspects of the preparation and when my father came to the refrigerator to put a bunch of soda cans in it, she continued, "and now he's in here!" like that was the final straw!

he had sports.

I'm fully expecting him to start knocking on the bathroom door any day now. Wanting a blow by blow play.

Should have been ideal, but you never knew what he would do instead. I'm so not into sports that I didn't even think of that - they are canceled.

I will. I live in an area that is 80% Republican to about 10% Democrats to about 10% those who cannot make up their minds and tend to lean either Republican or Libertarian. I live in a shitty fucking area, in poverty with no hope of escaping. The place is full of homophobes, racists, sexists, transphobes, and anti-Semites as far as the eye can see.

I will always complain.

ALWAYS.

I cannot say I won't complain again. I will.

They need to end up in court. When in public I see Fox News and I am a captive audience I will do my best to get it turned off.

I made a list this morning, but I realized there’s nothing I HAVE to have.

The problem is that I’m watching YouTube cooking videos, which makes me want to make things, so then I need to go buy ingredients! Gah!

I keep a running list, when we get to the point of actually needed something, we go. I feel like a kid at Christmas when we get most of the stuff on the list.

I used to go to several different grocery stores a week, depending on what we needed. Now I am 1 and done. It is my only outing, once a week.

Now carries classic games. Last night they carried Game 5 of the 1976 NBA Finals. For those who don't know or have forgotten, the teams were the Celtics and the Phoenix Suns. The teams were tied 2-2 going into the game. My younger brother, (20 years old at the time)m took our mother to the game. I watched from a local bar. The game went into 3 overtimes before the Celtics finally won. It was perhaps the most amazing game in NBA Finals history. Even though I knew how the game turned out, it was still worth watching due to all the little details I had forgotten.
