This epidemic shows what the truly important jobs are in this country.

Where would we be if there were no truck drivers? Where would we be without farmers? Where would we be without nurses and doctors?

Of course, we are an interdependent society and there are many jobs that keep the supply lines moving. In normal times, perhaps these folks are not appreciated enough?

We have discovered that we do not have to have the millionaires that play sports in order to survive. The money they make is not necessary for the survival of our people. Yes, they have value for entertainment purposes during normal times. But these are not normal times.

Perhaps a lesson we may learn is that a person's value cannot be solely judged on the amount of money they may make?

it went through Europe and England. Their services were in great demand with so many people lost. Many became land owners.

cowering in their fortresses somewhere in the boonies. And in the meantime, their slave labor employees are manning the front lines, putting their lives on the line, to sell the millionaire's or billionaire's stupid do dads.

I truly know the value of worker on the front line (my SO on the front lines at Home Depot) vs. a scumbag like some millionaires and billionaires, cowering in the background, and throwing their pathetic meager donations at people.

Yes, times like this, people are going to have to answer for themselves. Like rump, a worthless POS. All of them are going to have to answer some serious questions as to where they were during all of this, and why did they do this or that, despite the CV epidemic?

Can't hide now.

Minimum wage nationally still under $8/hr, wrap your head around working for that little during this crisis and still trying to survive on it!

Now imagine at work for that, and no health insurance.

The Reclusive Hedge-Fund Tycoon Behind the Trump Presidency - How Robert Mercer exploited America’s populist insurgency.

Bob believes that human beings have no inherent value other than how much money they make. A cat has value, he’s said, because it provides pleasure to humans. But if someone is on welfare they have negative value. If he earns a thousand times more than a schoolteacher, then he’s a thousand times more valuable.” Magerman added, “He thinks society is upside down—that government helps the weak people get strong, and makes the strong people weak by taking their money away, through taxes.” He said that this mind-set was typical of “instant billionaires” in finance, who “have no stake in society,” unlike the industrialists of the past, who “built real things.”

Another former high-level Renaissance employee said, “Bob thinks the less government the better. He’s happy if people don’t trust the government. And if the President’s a bozo? He’s fine with that. He wants it to all fall down.”
