Extending the reign of the virus

These states: Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arkansas and South Carolina have chosen to carry on business as usual. Their governors have not issued stay at home orders. They should be barred from traveling to any state that is under stay at home orders, especially after those instructions have been lifted.

It is insane that a national stay at home has not been issued. The residents of these states should either be barred from traveling outside their state boundaries or the other states must ban them from entering.

Let them do both.

In NorCal, we've been doing this on a mandatory basis since March 17 and a semi-voluntary basis.

These fool governors, and the equally foolish people in these states, have no business leaving their wretched states for at least 30 days after the rest of the country opens up.

The data should be valuable, though it may come at a high price to the residents of those states.

And like all such tests, they're good for testing one thing. A litmus test doesn't tell you that something's pH 1.2 versus 1.3, 10.1 versus 9.8. 4.0 or 2.0, they're the same.

S Carolina has a bunch of restrictions.

Utah had some March 16. Might have more now.

North Dakota has some.

North Dakota has no reported deaths, either.

Not bothering with the rest.

with stay at home orders? The articles mention minimal restrictions to prevent the spread of the virus. The cases will increase in those states as people feel free to move about. If each positive person infects 3 people (as per Dr. Fauci) in their lax environment then their numbers will grow as in other states.

When restrictions are lifted more of these people could be asymptomatic carriers and I hope they stay in their own states.

We have examples of China, Taiwan, and Singapore where in those cases, lock downs were successful at preventing the spread.
