The sheer imbecility, the contempt for his fellow Americans it implies, the rapt regard in which his cult will follow it, and by implication, his every word...the absolute uselessness of the remark, in the midst of a great national crisis... I dunno. I've tried to find words, but there aren't really any good--or bad--enough. The President of the United States, literally, as a snake-oil salesman. God help us.
