The aftermath

After this great chaotic event passes over, do you see any long term changes to the psychology of the American People? Any social changes? Or when this storm subsides are we going to be back to business as usual? Will it be that this event, as disruptive as it has and will be, will make no indelible marks on us as a Nation? There are certainly a number of possible scenarios, ranging from very positive to very negative. Will our politics change or become more deeply divided and more firmly rooted. Are we doomed to remain an US and THEM society?

There are no wrong answers, pull out your crystal ball; go forth and proclaim or dream as the case may be.

That's the thing where, for example, if a person is rich then they MUST also be smart.

That's how we got Trump and Jared being seen as "experts" by the 30% when they clearly aren't.

Admittedly, this is one-half prediction and one-half optimism.

I think this is what the rw oligarchs have been working for since 1920 and they are totally pouncing. They are deliberately killing us and destroying the worldwide economy for their own profit. drumpf will use the 50 billion to steal his next election and then will - dismantle Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid or cut them to the bone and turn the last 2 into block grants - which destroys them. Then he ends free public school and each and every labor and environmental law so there is no more min. wage, 40 hour work week, or child labor laws, then they outlaw all forms of contraception as killing babies and they will have a nation of ignorant, poor and sick people who will work for pennies and die young and the fascist will have what they want.

I don't know if this can be prevented, but if so it will take a blue tsunami and we all have to be onboard the GOTV train to have any hope at all of getting out so many people the rw thievery won't work.
