Fauci should resign from Trumps task force and join the Cuomo task force.

He should stop appearing with Trump during his propaganda sessions, instead appear with Cuomo during his news conferences.

The news media should stop showing Trumps propaganda sessions. It is time to stop Trump and his voters from controlling our destiny's.

Trump has failed us, the Republicans in congress have failed us. They broke their oath of office. The American people and the news media must fight back harder. Our lives depend on it.

We can no longer follow a president who says the federal government is "back up" during a national emergency. Not only is that a lie, it is irresponsible, foolish and a death sentence for many Americans.

Trump is saying this so he can blame the governors for every thing that goes wrong. That is how that piece of shit operates.

I would like to see the Governors create a national task force. They could put Cuomo in charge. Fauci could be their virus expert. I am tired of our Governors being forced to kiss Trumps ass in order not to piss him off.

Fuck Trump.

A hearty "second the motion" to the states' task force.

Governors have probably always felt they couldn't go it alone. Now we're seeing that they can't not.

2. He is appointed to the Pence task force & could be dismissed from that, certainly, BUT

He remains a career employee/Director of the National Institute of Health (NIH) National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984. That is not a politically appointed position. The overall Director of NIH is a presidentially appointed position. Fauci's is not.

He's not about to give up the latter, which would be necessary to serve on a state-based advisory board.

6. I sincerely hope you are suggesting resigning from the Pence task force and NOT

the Directorship of NIAID, which he has devoted his life to. If you meant the latter, I find that to be the height of arrogant, naive' and irresponsible suggestions as that is a CRITICAL position for ALL OF US. But, since I'm SURE you meant the former, we are good.

7. to do so means he would have to leave as Director of NIH-NIAID where he has dedicated his life

Cuomo answers the questions, every one.

I see some signs of Dr. Fauci turning a little bit. I know he's in a tough spot, one bad word that makes Trump sad and he's gone. He did go off a bit when asked why he wasn't wearing a mask. I trust him to stay strong about the big, important issues though, not that wearing a mask isn't important.

9. You don't realize how important his career job as Director of NIH-NIAID is to ALL OF US...

To suggest he leave that position (as would be required) to go to Cuomo's aid would hurt us all. NIH-NIAID is the principal group that will oversee clinical trials of drugs and vaccines.

This suggestion is ludicrous and ill informed.

After he resigns he should appear on TV and tell the world why he resigned. He should tell everyone what Trump has done and has not done.

He should tell everyone Trump has put us a great risk. Then he can go to work for Cuomo.
