Suggestion for DU

I couldn't find a forum for suggestions so I hope it's OK to post here.

it would be really helpful if you could take a snap shot of the Greatest Page every day and give us access to these records.

I find sometimes I want to go back and read something I saw on the greatest page a few days ago, but I can't remember exactly what the title was. I use the google search tool and it's not that great at finding things on DU.

it would be a great way to keep a more organized and accessible record of what goes on here at DU from day to day, and to find things we're looking for.

2. Easiest to bookmark the threads that interest you.

You may also want to buy yourself a star so that you can use the Advanced Search capabilities on DU.
Click "My Account" link at top and switch to the last tab for "Star Membership". I believe that you can purchase a star for as little as $1.

3. Agreed but I still thimk

It could be useful. What if you are offline for a few days and wanted to just go back and see what was being discussed? Or what if you forgot to bookmark something and you wanted to find it. I mean, there is a reason that newspapers keep an archive for their articles, people want to go back and look sometimes for lots of different reasons. I think the greatest page is an amazing place 2 get a feel for what is going on in the world on a particular day
