His approval numbers are going down and the more they show him blowing up on TV over reporters not asking him nice questions when they are asking perfectly normal questions the more it will go down. Hopefully he will just have a complete meltdown on live TV soon lol.

(3,115 posts)With his snorting and revisionist history. I'd like to see the meltdown, too.

(38,187 posts)Remember? His death cult is getting off on this and he is getting free campaign time. They are STILL going to vote for him, even if it was one of their own children he was to shoot on 5th Avenue.
The rest of us would like to have somewhere to go on TV to get away from his lying, greedy, selfish mouth and all the hot air coming out of it.

(7,281 posts)I wait for the questioning from the reporters, that is when it gets real fun. BTW, how many channels do you have?
Jamastiene
(38,187 posts)Half of them are already preaching channels, not by my choice, but by local standards and what I get stuck with. I don't know the exact number, because of how they have it set up. It is not enough to be able to get away from him and his garbage or that preaching garbage I don't want to see either.

(34,857 posts)Because his approval is up, on average.
In fact, according to 538, his approval (45.4%) is the highest (give or take a half-point or so) since March, 2017.

(21,105 posts)After an Arizona mans wife watched President Donald Trumps briefings on COVID-19, she took heed to his mention of the drug chloroquines possible protection against the virus. However, the unnamed woman told NBC News her and her husband mixed a small dose of chloroquine phosphate with a drink, not chloroquine, and they immediately began to feel ill. The drug is used to treat parasites in fish, which the woman had in her house (that she previously used on her koi fish) and believed that it was similar to the drug that was mentioned.
The woman began to vomit while her husband, both in their 60s, experienced respiratory issues. Once paramedics arrived and transported them to the hospital, her husband died. The woman said the couple took the drug because they were afraid of getting sick.

(7,281 posts)What you are saying now is quite different than dying from listening to his words. They died from listening to his words, deciding that they were true and then making a decision to act on them. Notice how there are 3 steps there, 2 of them past just listening to his words. As I said, no one is dying from listening to his words. That in no way means that Dump is not also responsible for that tragic act but to negate theirs and others responsibility from this is folly. They chose a belief system that allowed this to happen and others pushed that belief system on them. To ignore that and ascribe it to the orange asshole entirely is ignoring the madness that has become far to common in our country and has not only allowed this but has given it power.
Thanks,
Eko.

(47,393 posts)The more he's on TV, the more exposed he becomes. He can't get through one presser without being nasty and rude to someone. Not to mention, most of what he says is transparent bullshit.

(32,626 posts)going way far back...but what does anyone get from this particular brand of Donald's bull? It's the opposite of informative, it's not funny, it's not interesting, unless you like watching a sick man getting some perverse pleasure by forcing himself on a country.

(2,227 posts)His entire self worth is being on camera. It doesn't matter if people are praising him or hating him, as long as he is on camera. People hating on him to his face just fans his base's flames.
His press conferences have replaced the nazi rallies. His ego MUST be fed.
The Apprentice fixed itself in his mind's eye that he was a star. Never mind it was nothing more than a walk on roll to ask a few questions, and to say "You're Fired". The show was carried by the contestants. And to call him a D-list celebrity is being nice. HE thinks he is the center of the universe, and that show made that happen.
So he HAS to be on camera. He MUST try to get that same adulation again.
Take the camera away and he will dissolve away, melt down.
Unfortunately the media is not going to let that happen.
We have all the video we need for millions of campaign commercials, so his daily shit-shows aren't needed for more fodder. Smart, talented pr techies could make some incredibly hard-hitting ads.
But the daily exercises in narcissism do sate his need for worship.
And we ALL know he is the fucking 2nd coming.

(3,803 posts)I can understand the reasons for showing up to these things. If no credible journalists showed up, he'd just have Fox News and OAN fellating him a couple of hours a day.
