GOP Pollster Sounds Alarms on Coronavirus Messaging

GOP pollster Neil Newhouse circulated a presentation among Republican lawmakers sounding the alarms on President Trump’s messaging on the coronavirus, NBC News reports.

From the presentation: “Republicans’ failure to recognize the seriousness of this pandemic is putting themselves and their loved ones in danger. Denial is not likely to be a successful strategy for survival over the next months.”

Some of Newhouse’s key findings: “Americans believe Republicans are less concerned than other Americans about the spread of coronavirus, fewer Republicans have changed their behaviors to protect against contracting the virus and a majority of Republicans believe the threat of coronavirus is being blow out of proportion.”

Running a government or dealing with and accepting truth not so much. Democrats do need to improve their marketing.

w/ regard to any 'for the good of the public' announcements.

It's too bad and a shame now, because IMHO, it's going to be way too late for a lot of these republicans to change, they've already put themselves and their loved ones in harm's way. By the thousands and tens of thousands.

You laughed when the rest of us listened to our medical experts, and yeah, we took the medical experts' advice,
offered freely and openly, to all.

Don't blame us if the specter of death and serious illness visits your neighborhoods, your schools, your churches, and anywhere else you gathered together, disregarding the experts' warnings. You brought on yourselves, you only have yourselves to blame.

I feel for you, I really do, but right now, I'm more worried about my family, my loved ones, my friends, my neighbors, etc. then worrying about your violently confessed love for rump. It looks like to me that he hasn't really done anything for you lately, other than blah on forever. Has he done anything?
