Are Texas and Florida intentionally delaying their daily Covid-19 death reports?

Recently I've been visiting several sites that report Covid-19 stats, and I've noticed that the results for Texas and Florida seem to lag behind. It looks like their numbers are mostly being updated late in the evening.

Could it be that these two governments are intentionally waiting until after the evening news, hoping that people in their states won't see how bad the numbers really are?

NOTE1: There could be other states that do this too, but I don't watch closely enough to have noticed them.

NOTE 2. Obviously all the Covid-19 deaths everywhere are being under-counted simply because tests aren't always conducted on deceased people. But even beyond this, I strongly suspect that some states are also manipulating the data to try to hide the full truth, especially states like Texas and Florida.

Texas could be too, I just haven't been paying as much attention to TX.

People are told not to go to er unless in distress and some are dying at home so may not be counted properly. And counts should include those who died from something else but couldn't or were afraid to get treatment etc.

impossible. If they will fuck over the living for the sake of statistics, I have no doubt they will fuck with dead people.

Changing the goal posts is one way. Also when general death rate increase, coroner reports and funeral home records don't compare there's something not right.

It seems strange to me that some states are posting before noon. Unless they are reporting yesterday's numbers today.

Can not be trusted to do anything except back up Trump. I don't trust anything that comes out of Tallahassee. If he can delay, hide, sweep anything under the rug, you can count on it.

but if you're not testing, you have no numbers. You certainly don't know who's positive, and dying without testing seems pretty easy.
