(47,940 posts)If we know we won't lose her seat. Kamala Harris would be a safe seat. I don't know about the other two. I'd also love to see Val Demmings. Picture her riding up on her Harley.

(23,552 posts)thought Kamala is my favorite and the first candidate i supported.........
so why did i vote for Abrams?
Well, I'm terrified to take anyone out of the Senate, which we DESPERATELY need to win away from McConnell, the worst majority leader in the nation's history.
Granted if Harris is removed, she will be replaced by a democrat so my fear is probably unfounded...
okay now i wish i had just voted for kamala lol
actually she's a great choice... after the "bussing" clashes in the debates picking Kamala, and Kamala giving her whole hearted support, would do wonders to patch over any lingering animosity and show that Biden has moved beyond mistake he made in the past.

(56,848 posts)The Mass governor is a popular Republican there

(6,642 posts)it would be an absolute disaster to lose a Senate majority and chance at replacing Mitch McConnell as the Senate Majority Leader because we lost a replacement Senate race

(1,459 posts)I thing she has the MidWest appeal needed to take Wisconsin, Michigan, and maybe even Ohio.
I see Harris as a strong contender, but California is not a State Biden needs help in, Wisconsin is.
