A nice anecdotal story of a Dr. on the front lines at Lincoln Hospital, Bronx.

Afrey, an immigrant from DR, returned back to work at Lincoln this week. He's a 3rd year resident who will be basically living at the hospital over the coming weeks. His wife and child are staying with his MIL - (my SO) in MA. He decided to look for a 1 BR singles type apartment for the duration. His landlord told him today he wants him to stay as he is on the front lines of the crisis. He dropped his rent to $1600/mo which was about $800 less than he was paying and close to what a single BR efficiency goes for in his neighborhood.

Nice to see landlords that appreciate their tenants.
