I saw an interview with an EMT who said he makes $37K a year and works three jobs to keep his head above water.

People are putting their lives on the line working in supermarkets and cleaning nursing homes for $7.50 an hour in some states.

It is criminal that these workers are not provided with the PPE to keep them safe in their line of work. How is it, that in the richest country in the world we cannot seem to manage this simple task? It's just insane. People working for minimum wage should not be expected to put their lives on the line for this. Is it too much to ask to give them basic protective gear?
