Well,has anyone received their $1200?

I heard that the funds would start to be paid by the middle of this week?
I personally think Rump is worrying himself sick by figuring a way to hijack these payments into his personal accounts.

2. I'm thinking next Wed.

Government direct deposits always post on a Wed. SS and tax refunds, I would think this might work the same way. H

12. Are we only getting one payment?

I thought at first it was supposed to be two, one in April and one in May. Is that out the window?

3. Current Information

https://www.syracuse.com/coronavirus/2020/04/stimulus-checks-heres-when-federal-payments-should-hit-bank-accounts.html

In mid-April, likely the week of April 13, the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee expects the Internal Revenue Service to make about 60 million payments to Americans through direct deposit, the report said.

These payments will go to taxpayers who used direct deposit to receive tax returns in 2018 or 2019, and Social Security beneficiaries who filed federal returns that included direct deposit information.

5. Don't expect them soon

Trumps stiffing us like he's done to his contractors. Trump and the GOP from underfunding direct payments are pushing us into an even worse financial disaster. Their SB loans getting out are a disaster too. From trump expect the worse, he lies, a lot.

7. And what about a website to ensure that they have one's direct deposit information?

I read there would be such a website. Has that been put in place??

9. You can check here:

https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know

As of right now:
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

The latest information will be on:

8. Who knows

Who knows when it'll actually be. The horror stories I've heard in regards to small businesses getting money, my guess is they may try and get that situation straightened out first, before the individual checks get sent out. Compounding the problem is the fact there's now no one to oversee where all of this money is going.

11. Yeah I am not holding my breath

I figure it will be weeks before they even figure out who is going to get them and how much and then probably sometime at the end of the month of April, and only if our government manages to subdue - temporarily their incompetence, will we actually start to get the stimulus checks.
