Leilani contracted the COVID 19 virus while working as an essential employee for Giant Supermarket in Largo Maryland. Leilani was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where she was admitted on March 26, 2020. Leilani fought the brave fight a and gave it her all. If Giant Foods (her employer) does not do something to try to help her poor mother and all their workers, they deserve the explosive backlash coming their way.

She was 27 years old. I lost a Great Uncle in the 1918 pandemic. He was 25. My heart breaks for her family and all the families who are grieving.
