First Easter in 30 years with no family or friends

3. Same here, but I am still going to prepare myself a nice meal, set the table

including decorating it with some china rabbits, eggs, etc. as well as dogwood blossoms from my yard. I have an orchid plant that I originally gave my late mom a few years ago that just bloomed anew, so that will be placed in a prominent spot. I will sing the Easter hymns that I love. I am not going to let this miserable SOB rob me of Easter.

I am sure that the people on the other side of those doorsteps will appreciate the meals and look forward to celebrating with you just as soon as it is safe. (And I hate him, too, beyond words.)

6. Same here but we will have a virtual brunch

with extended family on Zoom. I'm trying to focus on the good side because my family lives all around the country and I usually don't see them at Easter. I usually sit down with my Mom for Easter and go to church with her but she died in June. This year all my siblings and most of our adult children will eat together on Zoom!
