Trump's own commission failed to find any evidence of widespread voter fraud in the United States.
Donald Trump falsely claimed on Wednesday that a million people had voted illegally in California and that the state had admitted this in a legal settlement.
At a press conference, Trump was asked about his opposition to voting by mail a system used in Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. He responded by claiming that "the great state of California" had settled a case brought by the right-wing group Judicial Watch and "they agreed that a million people should not have voted, where they were 115 years old and lots of things and people were voting in their place."
"I think there's a lot of evidence, but we'll provide you with some, okay? And theres evidence that's being compiled just like it's being compiled in the state of California, where they settled with Judicial Watch, saying that a million people should not have been voting in you saw that," he said.
He then incorrectly stated that every one of the states with vote-by-mail systems "happens to be won by the Democrats."

What can you expect from a confidence man, mobster dictator who is pretending to be a President?
But they say, "Oh, no! Let's go to this clandestine tyrant to ask him what he thinks about this, that and the other thing."
On the other hand, he does know all about fraud. He's like an expert as many people say. He knows about it more than most people.

(37,159 posts)It all revolves around voting in Chicago, where Mayor Daley allegedly stuffed ballots for Kennedy, giving him the state. There isn't any proof, but the reputation of Daley's political machine was such that it wasn't out of the question.
However, no matter what happened, Nixon still would have lost. The presidential election did not hinge on Illinois. There might have been people running for local and state offices that had the election stolen from them, but Richard Nixon was not one of their number.
And since it wouldn't change the election, Nixon was dissuaded from forcing an investigation, which likely would also have turned up similar corrupt practices by Republican machines in downstate areas.
