stop but, we should at least give it a solid try. Most little guys are hurting already. If you do have to spend do it at a mom and pop, preferably a liberal one. I know plenty of small business owners that are hard core supporters of the orange one. I know one that is already bragging about get his small business cut of relief money. He didn't like when I said the was socialism.....

And hope that it becomes a much-needed trend. This idea that spending money on all kinds of crap we don't need is patriotic is just BS that mostly benefits those at the top. The world needs a new model for an economic system because the one we currently have is only going to make climate change worse while making people less happy. Study after study shows both those things to be true.

At my age (67), I'm definitely at a point in my life where I don't want any more stuff. I'm trying to purge my life (and my garage) of the stuff I already have. My family knows that what I want for gifts is time with them, not something I have to unwrap. A friend of my husband's was trying to figure out a gift for his wife's birthday and he asked my husband what he gets me for my birthday. His answer was "nothing". That doesn't mean that we don't celebrate being together, having a meal, a glass of wine, a nice conversation. That means more to us than another thing. Plus it's much better for the environment that we stop buying crap. If it keeps that part of the economy from roaring back to life - thus, keeping The Orange One from winning in November - it's a win/win!

6. The orange one cannot reopen squat

Only our governors, mayors and in Texas, public health judges, can reopen non-essential businesses and lift stay at home orders.

These things our orange president could do to help:

The orange one could reopen Obamacare;

The orange incompetent could hire competent staff to work on getting our stimulus out the door;

The orange clown could put a military quartermaster in charge of obtaining, purchasing and distributing PPE, tests and ventilators; and,

The orange sadist could stop trying to deport dreamers, thus allowing the 27,000-28,000 dreamer healthcare workers to keep risking their lives to save ours.

Our orange t.v. only president could do all of those things to help make it safer to reopen the economy.

Our orange huckster president has done none of those things.

Instead, our orange dithering quivering nincompoop is talking about doing something he has zero authority to accomplish.

It is the usual story of this dangerous reality show presidency. Lots of hot air signifying absolutely nothing.
