Silly question about the press briefings: What does the man with the ladder do everyday ???

Is the room used for any other reason ???

He has been up on the ladder for at least 25 minutes looking at some kind of device in his hand and

adjusting things over his head.

Please, no smart ass answers.

I seriously want to know what he is doing.

Occasionally in the long hours before his stupidity arrives, the camera pans up and you see just a ton of cabling and equipment, so I imagine he or she are at the ready if something needs attention.

8. I noticed the guy with the ladder too. I think he's working on a glitch in the Matrix...

trying to patch up a Truth hole from shining in. Or, maybe it's a Cable TV news and talk show trick where they give the drooling followers something to look at while the brain washing mantras come out for the daily regular programming. Perhaps he's a plant as an artifact to think that it was all a stage, a prop, a look at ladder guy, it can't be real!
