(17,609 posts)to show how little and troubled he really is, IQ45 does the exact opposite!
PS: When I said "little" - I wasn't talking about his size (unless we count hands and the testimony of Stormy..)

trump is a cheap bill-o-goods that was foisted on the gullible to allow the real virus (oligarchic control) to infect democracy.
Get a cut-rate deal on a wannabe dictator who makes a segment feel good while they are being royally screwed in the end (literally and figuratively.)

(93,532 posts)... comes close and the reason you most likely didn't hear about that is because Obama wasn't a nut case like Trump

https://www.healthline.com/health-news/how-deadly-is-the-coronavirus-compared-to-past-outbreaks#2009-(H1N1)-flu-pandemic
- Global cases: about 24 percent of global population; 60.8 million U.S. cases
- Global deaths: over 284,000; 12,469 in the United States; death rate was .02 percent

(77,270 posts)ZERO POINT ZERO TWO PERCENT!
I know we don't have a good denominator yet, but we're at 3.6% of confirmed infections.
180x the swine flu death rate.

(912 posts)Most of them it seems like to think they experienced/were living through some kind of apocalypse during those years. Rescuing the economy from total ruin after pubbie rule and the ACA, oh, the horror, the horror!!! That kind of stupid is beyond helping.

(98,438 posts)Hot dayum.
CNN just played a clip of a speech from 12/2014 talking about a virus...not sure which one. I just caught the end. He said this was not about politics and we need to show the world how we deal with this.

Now he can. This is perfect timing and so good for Joe.

(11,513 posts)he JUST DID HIS JOB. Quietly, behind the scenes, without fanfare, he listened to the experts, was pro-active and did what needed to be done. It's hard to prove a negative but we can now see how these previous outbreaks could have been a disaster had he been as negligent as Trump. Not only were Trump's priorities all wrong from the start, he simply wasn't up to the task. He is incompetent and lazy.

(612 posts)Any manager worth his salt has assembled a strong support staff in order to be able to delegate various duties. That staff works with each other to determine what needs doing at any particular time, much like a successful beehive.
A successful leader stands back to allow his qualified people to do the work that needs doing, offering support wherever needed. That organization is what is sorely lacking now.

(14,653 posts)The job of a good leader is to PREVENT crises whenever possible, so most people don't even know what you did or what you steered us clear of. It's a thankless task, which is why Trump doesn't prefer it. It also requires actual work, another reason Trump doesn't prefer it. Soooo much easier just to pretend for the media to be doing great things than to be accomplishing actual great things away from the spotlight.

(586 posts)& Obama was never stupid enough to think that no one could teach him anything like donnie apparently believes!
Yesterday Gov Cuomo was looking at the various stats & commented that we should look at these things to see what we can learn from them. & I thought, that's a refreshing idea! Someone who is willing to learn something from this terrible situation!
