Commenting that Katrina, in particular, was just Earth's self defense mechanism kicking in.
Never forget that. One of his last appearances - I think but I could be wrong

It may not have been that particular interview, but I remember distinctly what KV said. Basically he said that the human race is like a virus on the planet, and global warming was the Earth running a fever to drive us out.

He was quite a guy. Kind of a wild and weird imagination.

New Orleans in 2015 and in the 5th ward there were still many boarded-up and destroyed homes, quite a lot of just concrete foundations, absent building on them, with weeds and trees sprouting up on and through cracks in the concrete.

Just like the virus, countries all over the world are flipping toward ultra far right leaders. It's not just the US. Look at Russia, Brazil, the UK, the Philippines, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, Poland, I can go on and on.

Maybe this virus is nature's way of telling us that we need to tone it down.

Mother Nature is acting out with her displeasure at how we are treating her planet......
Every year we don't get the message, she comes up with a newer and harsher way to torment us all.......

It's a virus, so it ultimately came from the Earth.
Also, it attacks the body in the area of the heart and lungs.

I would say that it's a message that there isn't enough love in humanity...something obvious to even the most casual observer.

Love is an antidote for much of humanities woes. This crisis is a test of love.
We can already see who is failing that test and who is passing it.

We must all support each other the best we can. Be kind, compassionate, understanding.

Love will carry us through the darkest of times.

Some of us will sit there and think about what we've done, some will sit there and fantasize about anything else they could be doing, and most will get up and wander away resuming their previously abandoned activity with no responsible grownup telling them to get their ass back in that chair.
