22% & 40%

Of all reported Covid-19 deaths thus far reported in the world today, the US accounts for 22% of that. Add the UK to it and you have 40% of all reported deaths from this disease : 5,777

Coincidence?

Deaths Today, thus far
World - 5,777
USA - 1,304
U.K. - 980

The day is still young.

While a lot of that can be attributed to lack of leadership Ex Lurker Apr 2020 #1
On the other hand, I doubt that USA is reporting accurately. I expect the death toll to be higher. Midnight Writer Apr 2020 #3

It's also fair to point out that some countries haven't been reporting accurately, either through inability or malice. And in others the pandemic is just starting to ramp up.

We are still not testing enough, and distribution of tests is spotty.

If a patient in Coronavirus, TX dies from respiratory failure, but has never been tested, does it count?

If a person dies in their home, and has not been tested, does it count?

Last thing I want is for republicans to throw that back at us and say 60 percent of the deaths in the United States are from New York, New Jersey and Michigan. Why? Other states are not providing accurate numbers. Same thing with the BS country numbers.
