And feel secure that their votes were counted. It’s the cornerstone of everything else, and Repugs have a decades-old track record of undermining that at every opportunity. And it’s gonna get worse. We need to be prepared to respond when they try and steal this thing in November. You think they’ve played dirty before? Wisconsin should make it clear they are just warming up. They have no problem creating circumstances where we literally need to put our lives and bodies on the line to exercise our right to vote. Not new in this country. Women and communities of color have seen this for a long time. But now it’s going mainstream, and we need to be ready.
