In my long life, he was, the most honorable man with whom or for whom I have ever worked, an exemplar of integrity and all that is good among human beings. I, and everyone who knew him, will miss him greatly.
The world, it seems, is emptying.

(29,173 posts)We have a Memorial for our DU sisters and brothers who have left us.
I think DU should start one for all the friends, family members, neighbors we have lost to this pandemic.
I hope it would have very few names, but even one is one too many.

(5,340 posts)Im sorry for your loss. There is never a good time to lose a good person, and I struggle to contain in a few words the compounded sadness for it to have happened right now, in these times. Hugs and kindness to you and everyone grieving the loss of someone this, as we do the best we can to get on through to better days.
