as the Republicans here about COVID, even as it pursued policies to discriminate viciously against millions of Muslims.

Muslims, who are being blamed by a lot of nasty, vicious RW Hindus for causing COVID, can risk being beaten and murdered in India for trying to get healthcare right now. And nothing like that's happening here at least.

Btw, speaking of capitalism, remember that Sanders' proposed "MfA" healthcare plan would be a capitalist, for-profit healthcare system? Just like the ACA?

That makes Sanders an evil capitalism supporter, right? No, I don't believe it neither. I think he despises both the ACA and his own MfA and just cynically used the catchy, easy-sounding label as a two-fer: both as an issue to run on and to gather support for repeal of the Democrats' ACA/Obamacare. Why would he double team with the Republicans to destroy Obamacare if he was just going to replace it -- if he could -- with just another greedy capitalist, for-profit system? Don't know, but that's quite an unanswered question, isn't it? Fortunately, we'll never have to find out.

on progress toward beating this. I've read that India is sending healthcare workers across the nation to trace and quarantine those who've had contact with COVID. How that would be done in a nation of well over a billion, with millions transient, boggles, but they're doing it.
