Include Mount Lassen and Mount Rainier in Washington state. I think there’s another near Mammoth Lake, also in Cali.

The one that REALLY worries me is the big one under Yellowstone.

Mount St.Helens was pretty bad. It blew the mountain side off and was a VEI 4. Now Yellowstone would be VEI 7. It would essentially choke our world. Talking ash that would cover every state, the ash would circle the earth and bring volcanic winter. No crops or livestock would survive. People will die but the planet would just self heal.

But America would be pretty uninhabitable for a time because of the mass die off from plants and livestock. Not to mention the ash that would bury homes and cities.

I once heard that people arguing over who owns land on the planet is like fleas arguing over who owns the dog.

because it's not exploding.....yet. If we tossed Moron 45 into the volcano it would most assuredly blow bigly.

There's also an ash plume, but I haven't heard how significant it is yet.
