It's hard to believe I'm living thru these times. Every day I wake up feeling like, "This cannot be happening in my lifetime". But it is. I don't know about you, but I don't want to live a life of hate. Oh, I feel it alright. And I often express it. But there's one big problem with that hate. Do you know anyone you love who is a Maga supporter? Well unfortunately I know 2. That points me to the fact that life and people are complicated--including me. I cannot stop loving someone who has been so kind to my husband. He has also lovingly enveloped me. While I'm totally mystified at his love for tRump, I never argue with or show him my utter disgust. He now has ALS and is rapidly declining. Because I never hated on him, I will someday be able to relinquish his soul guilt free and with our pre tRump love. I hate that he is a Maga supporter. I hate that he was never able to be persuaded to think otherwise. So I guess I'm pleading for us to direct that hate toward the very nasty life defeating policies, and not at the people. Hating each other may do us more harm in the long run. We never know why people act the way they do.
